About our process

Historical records and information regarding the cultural significance of the area and photographs of the site are reviewed before the land is approved as a Fresh Air Forests project site.

Once accepted into the programme, the area surrounding the project site is assessed so that the natural forest types and native species of the area can be matched to create a natural, local forest.

Our field teams track the growth and well-being of every Fresh Air Forest and maintain the data for each site.
